Anticipated Book Releases (July & August 2019)

In doing research into figuring out the releases in July and August, I realized that there are way too many good books coming out. I absolutely love the premise of all of these, and cannot wait to get my hands on a copy!

Wilder Girls by Rory Power – July 9th
This story sounds so unique and interesting, and I am so excited to read this one!

Before I Disappear by Danielle Stinson – July 23rd
This one sounds amazing. An entire town disappearing? How will the characters get out of their predicament?

Never Have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson – July 30th
I love a book all about deception and dark secrets.

Someone We Know by Shari Lapena – July 30th
I’ve read all of Shari Lapena’s other works, and her fourth one sounds just as good as her other ones!

Here There are Monsters by Amelinda Berube – August 1st
I am all for a book about a monster. I’m so in the mood for a good horror story right now, and I cannot wait for this book.

The Birthday Girl by Melissa De La Cruz – August 6th
More dark secrets? Yes please.

House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig – August 6th
I’ve never seen a retelling of “Twelve Dancing Princesses” but just that retelling alone makes me excited for this book.

The Retreat by Sherri Smith – August 13th
More secrets. I love thrillers that are set in some fancy “getaway” location.

The First Girl Child by Amy Harmon – August 20th
I wasn’t sure how I felt about this one at first, but after some thought, I think the premise is so interesting and unique.

Crown of Coral and Pearl by Mara Rutherford – August 27th
This book has everything I love: twins, arranged marriage, a love triangle, court intrigue. I am so excited for this one!

What books are on your TBR list? Let me know!

-XOXO Devon
